That is an operetta, so it mostly consits of songs. That film exists only in german. The film is black&white.

Louis XIV appears in this film only for several minutes, he is not the main hero. The film shows a lovestory of young beautiful woman, who sings like an angel, and of an aristocrat who makes her fall in love with him, but he does it just for a bet that he made with his friends.
The story is very naive, but beautiful and it is very interesting to see the mix between the costumes and manners of 17th century, and the fashion and manners of the first half of 20th century!
